Excellent service

An excellent service for us at a difficult time. We needed a unit to store the household goods of a relative during the Covid outbreak. The reception staff were very helpful with the booking of the unit and in suggesting last minute help in moving the goods. All of our dealings with McCarthy's were met with quiet and pleasant efficiency. The unit was dry, clean and easy to access.

Excellent helpful and friendly staff - will use them again

Very helpful in understanding needs and made changing lock up simple - always very friendly and helpful . Have also used their van hire - sane great service Refunds always prompt Used them before and will definitely use them again when the needs arise

100% Recommended - Taking the stress out of a stressful time!

McCarthy’s were absolutely second to none, from the word go. The level of communication from the date of my enquiry was just right. They helped select the right unit size, and facilitated the moving in process with a friendly smile. Even before we got to the UK. Moving at any time can be stressful, but Jess went the extra mile to ensure we were always happy and made our move in and move out stress free. For this, I am truly thankful and I can’t speak more highly of the service we received! 100% recommended! Thank you for all your help

Brilliant service

McCartheys were there to take much of the stress out of what was a very difficult time for myself and my family.All the staff were patient and understanding of our dilemma and did all they could to help. The storage facilities were safe and very secure with easy access . All in all a painless experience. Would highly recommend.

Great Customer Service and Secure Facility

Really friendly and helpful customer service and explained everything clearly. Easy to reserve and new facility in York seems well secured and easy to access, with handy equipment to use (particularly with extended hours - at additional cost). Only minor comment for improvement during these times would be to have sanitise stations near the keypads as these are touch points for everyone using the facility.

They assisted me with securing an additional lock up, advised me on a person to collect my goods from a designated flat and deliver to the correct lock up. they called me a taxi when I needed to return home

Five star team at McCarthy’s

First class service particularly from Kat and Joe who both went above and beyond my expectations. So easy to deal with and nothing was too much trouble even opening up early for me on the day I was leaving . Would definitely recommend and use McCarthy’s again .

Great Customer Service and Facilities

Been with McCarthy's for about three years. Not cheap but they are very flexible and have always tried to give me the most economical size unit for my needs and I have moved three times to achieve this. The facilities are very good and always scrupulously clean and tidy. Very convenient and secure 24/7 access. I have dealt with at least four different members of staff and they have all been terrific - very helpful, efficient and friendly and make you feel valued as a customer. Can't fault them on service and facilities and would recommend them without hesitation.

The key to peace of mind is security

Great secure facility. Maintained clean and tidy throughout. Three entrance security during out of hours. Alarm detection system is highly advanced. Locker linked to entrance password. All in all very reassuring with pleasant staff on hand to provide assistance if required.
